This is a darling spot for tea and lunch. You can expect a warm welcome, friendly service, and a charming atmosphere with good salads & soups. Leave room for dessert if you can (or take something home). It's nice to do a little walking around the shops afterwards too.

Great soups, salads, and sandwiches! Laidback atmosphere, quaint and sweet. Save room for dessert...you won't be disappointed!

I visited the Greenwood Country Tea Room today with my mom and sister to attend High Tea for mom's birthday. I have to say, the experience was fabulous. High tea started at 1 PM and we were seated in a very quaint room at a beautifully set table by the window. There's a comfortable amount of space between the tables and they actually had two rooms that they served. The tea sets used were all floral themed at our table, and though the teacup and saucer did not match the plate settings. The eclectic mix worked. We had an iced peach tea on the table as well as an assortment of hot teas throughout the meal. The meal began with a cup of carrot, ginger soup, garnished with a sprig of celery. The soup was beautifully spiced and tasted amazing. It paired well with both the iced peach tea and the hot berry tea. sidenote the berry tea had a lovely pink color to it which made for a surprisingly nice contrast against the orange of the carrot ginger soup. We were also excited to get it that we forgot to take pictures until we've had a few bites each. Lol. Course a small chicken Caesar salad. The chicken was grilled perfection with fresh made croutons and a homemade Caesar dressing. The dressing was a hint more tangy than I'm used to, but not at all fishy even my mom who does not like Caesar dressing enjoyed the salad. I think we must've all been hungrier than we thought when we arrive because we forgot to take pictures of the salad all together. it looked like any normal chicken Caesar salad and came on a small 6 inch plate. The downtime in between the salad course and the entrée was a bit longer, but it left a good opportunity for us to enjoy each other's company and conversation. Everyone around the room seemed perfectly content to leisurely enjoy each and no one seemed to mind the intervals between. When the sandwich course came out, it was actually a selection of small sandwiches and pastries with a hint of fruit as well. We had apricot ham sandwich, quarters, plain scones, blueberry scones, turkey pesto pastries (Looked like puff pastry coils), and a strawberry chicken salad on a slice of brown bread. I've never been a chicken salad fan, but I did try it here and the addition of the strawberries and other various fruits at least made it edible for me; however, both my mom and sister do like chicken salad and they raved about this one. The scones were top-notch; buttery and the perfect amount of sweet. They tiered sandwiches and pastries also came with a homemade fresh lemon curd that was smooth and velvet and enhanced the flavors of the scones and the sandwiches. The apricot ham was amazing and was served on what tasted like a cinnamon raisin bread. The turkey pesto pastry was fluffy with a slight crumble to the pastry, and the pesto inside was made to perfection. There were four pieces of each item on the tray and everyone in our small group had a second helping of something so there was nothing left at the end of the course. The sandwich trays also contained a small assortment of fruit, including orange slices, carved kiwi, and some grapes. After the sandwich course they came around and cleared the plates from the table and refilled our hot tea cup with a wonderfully scented lavender tea. After that they brought out dessert, which was absolutely crazy. Each of us got our own plate of mini desserts, which included a homemade cookie, chocolate cake, a yellow cake with raspberry cream, strawberry shortcake, lemon, poppyseed cake with a hint of blueberry. My favorite dessert was the raspberry cake; however, the favorites were different around the table. The lavender tea again was the perfect pair for the selection of desserts. When we finished the meal, it was almost 3 o'clock so we had been there for about two hours. It did not feel like two hours and it was time well spent with the girls in our family. The tea room staff was pleasant and attentive, but not overly present. They had amazing food and fabulous service. Before we left, we were already asking when they were going to be doing high tea again. For the record, I only do it about twice a year, but they are open with a regular menu for a few hours in the middle of the day Wednesday through Saturday. I highly recommend that you join them for a meal and a good time with family and friends.

Love coming here! The staff is always so nice and welcoming. Food and tea is always fantastic. Judith is the best!!

So much fun!! It was so cute. But, keep in mind the food is targeted as a 'high tea' experience and is smaller portioned, however very delicious!!!

The chicken salad was amazing. Wonderful place to meet up with friends. Definitely recommend.

Darling tea and lunch spot. Food is fresh and appears homemade, delicious. Service is fun, conscientious but busy. We take home dessert every visit. It's a favorite.

What a lovely surprise this little tea room is. First it is not little! It is surprisingly large and so cutely decorated. The staff was amazingly friendly and hospitable. The menu is all fresh made and I love that the sandwiches come with side salad. I had the club sandwich and Caesar salad. My mom had the quiche of the day with Caesar and my sister had the caprese panini and berry salad. We all were very happy with our choices! We shared a piece of lemon berry cake that was amazing! (Disclaimer: I don't swear that these are the exact names of the sandwiches we ordered but you'll get the gist).

We went on a girls day out. I loved the atmosphere and our food was delicious. The fried green beans were a treat.

Sweet and cozy place, one page main menu but with good selections. Food was delicious and well prepared. Staff is kind and professional. Absolutely lovely and will be back again and again with my family! Highly recommending it!
